shanballymore apiary is a small but expanding apiary situated in north west galway in a rural setting. here we focus only on the promotion and wellbeing of the native irish black bee (apis mellifera mellifera). all bees and indeed pollinators are important to the health of this planet it’s just we believe passionately about the promotion and hence growth in numbers of the black bee here in ireland.
